"Yes, the enemy is in the sheepskin. One must wait and watch for a sign... a tell... that reveals the face."

Commented on Vista of a Sisyphean Mind:
"You wrote, "We give up on our dreams not because we stopped believing they’re attainable but because we stop believing we can afford the dedication required. We give up on our dreams because we stop believing in our abilities." This essay was especially meaningful to me. Right now, I'm so busy at work, and my wife and I are in the process of selling our home and buying another. Sometimes, though, I feel I'm compromising while working to fulfill my dream/goal of finishing my next novel. I'm at the point where I'm trying to find the balance between my work life, my family life and my writerly life."

Commented on The Domesticated Poet:
"I have to admit, at first I thought the transgressor was the husband and wondered if he would fess up or let his son take the blame. So much for my thoughts. Glad it all turned out okay. Wonderful example of what can happen when we don’t have all the facts."

Commented on Vista of a Sisyphean Mind:
"I couldn't agree more. My work as an author is a means to express my individuality. At first, I was fearful of the 'crowds' reaction to my work and hesitated before I pressed that 'publish' button. Not that what I was writing was confrontational, but that I was taking a step forward by putting my stories out there. The thought of cruel reviews, or snarky emails was daunting. I have received a few of them, but I've also received valuable critiques and support from my loyal followers. Now, I feel free and encourage all artists to step out, speak up, and don't be afraid to show your individuality. And never look back..."

Commented on Vista of a Sisyphean Mind:
"I so appreciate your inspiring words. Without hope, one will come to a place where there is no reason to continue on life's journey... No reason to get out of bed in the morning... No reason to smile when someone says ’hello.’ All that’s left is gray despair."
